The Emeritus designation is conferred upon qualified academic and administrative faculty who have served the university for a minimum of ten years, demonstrated significant contributions to the University and/or their academic field, exhibited good university citizenship, and been recommended by their department and the university senate executive committee. Faculty members who are granted this designation are ambassadors for the quality of the university and serve as a public representation of our faculty excellence.
