The Alternate Workload Assignment form is to be initiated at the department level to submit workload equivalents for special assignments and activities as defined in the CBA and/or presented at local meet and discuss.
This form is the CANDIDATE APPROVAL FORM, used in accordance with Article XI “Appointment of Faculty” of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The Faculty Advertisement Form provides the required information for advertising a faculty position. The Search Committee Chair is responsible for initiating the form and certifying that the advertisement accurately reflects the position qualifications and search criteria. The Department Chair reviews the form. Once signed by both parties, the form is forwarded to the Dean for approval. Then, the Provost’s Office posts the advertisement and forwards a copy to the Office of Social Equity.
Once the search committee has selected a candidate to fill the position, the Candidate Approval Form and the Faculty Appointment Form must be submitted to the Dean’s Office. After these forms are received and reviewed, the Dean extends the official offer to the candidate.
The search chair will initiate this form. The funds transferred will be used for search expenses for a minimum of three candidate. These funds are only for the expenses for the interview process
This Position Authorization Form must be submitted by the Department Chair when there is a need to hire faculty. The form gathers the appropriate authorizations to fill a faculty vacancy or establish a new position. The Department Chair must submit one form for each faculty position being requested.
This fund is intended to provide additional travel support for presentation of scholarly and creative works at peer-reviewed conferences, festivals, and competitions.
